As 2025 has come to a close, the trustees and volunteers of WCSAR would like to wish everyone a very happy New Year.

Apologies that this is a little late this year – a much-needed holiday, followed by a storm that knocked out my power and internet, slowed me down a bit! It’s still down, but at least we have a roof over our head. Thinking of those not as fortunate in these wintery conditions. We hope everyone is doing okay and recovering after last week’s events.

Over the course of 2025, our team gave an incredible 5,068 volunteer hours to the community. That’s the equivalent of 211 full days of time freely given.

None of this would be possible without the ongoing support of our volunteers’ families, who are so often left behind at short notice, sometimes in the middle of the night. Your patience and understanding never go unnoticed.

Finally, thank you to everyone who has supported WCSAR throughout 2025. Your kindness and generosity mean more to us than we can say. 🧡
