We were contacted by Devon & Cornwall Police to support the evacuation of homes and other premises following the discovery of an unexploded bomb in the port of Falmouth.

We were proud to be part of a large, multi-agency response, working alongside emergency services, council teams and fellow charities to support the operation and the local community.

A huge thank you to the people of Falmouth for their understanding, patience and cooperation throughout the evacuation. And a big well done to all the coordinating partners and everyone involved in keeping the community safe.

Finally, thank you to Rapid Relief Team UK for providing much-needed food and refreshments to those working throughout the operation. Your support was greatly appreciated.
