MEDICAL – Morvah (13/01/24)
We were requested to assist South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon with extracting an injured walker.
On the Penwith Moors near Morvah, the walker sustained a lower leg injury slipping in boggy terrain. Working alongside the ambulance crew our team members helped to recover the male to the waiting ambulance.
It was our fourth call-out in six days.
All of our team members are volunteers. We’re available 24/7, 365 days of the year to assist the emergency services to search for missing, vulnerable and injured people across West Cornwall.
We rely on public donations to operate.
