We were called out yesterday by South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust to assist with the extraction of an injured mountain biker.

Also in attendance were Cornwall Air Ambulance and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service. As team members arrived at the scene, the casualty was already being assisted by ambulance and fire colleages. Team members helped taking medical kit down to the casualty’s location, who had fallen down a 10ft gully.

We were stood down shorty after as the incident was under control. We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
