The team were requested by Devon & Cornwall Police to assist in the search of a high-risk missing person in the Fowey area.

We worked alongside our colleagues from East Cornwall Search & Rescue Team, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Plymouth, St Austell Coastguard as well as other coastguard rescue teams and the Police in the two-day search.

On the second day of searching, thankfully the person was located. They were extricated to hospital with the assistance of the Coastguard Helicopter.

We wish the person a quick recovery.
