At approximately 1500 on Sunday afternoon, we were requested by Devon & Cornwall Police to assist in a search for a high-risk missing person in the Godrevy area.

14 volunteer team members searched farmland, woodland and coastal locations for over six hours. Colleagues from Maritime and Coastguard Agency had already been out previously that day clearing other probable areas.

Team members covered search areas into the night, and with nothing found, were stood down at 2130 as Police conduct further inquiries. Thank you to the staff at Hell’s Mouth Cafe for the use of the facilities and car park.
