We were tasked by Devon & Cornwall Police at 15.00 to assist in the search for a high-risk missing person in the Gwinear area, near to Hayle.

Three search teams headed out to cover probable areas, including a Search Dog team from Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England.

Shortly after, our controller received information that the missing person had been located safe and well by local Police officers, outside of our search areas.

We were stood down at 17.00.
