At 10:00 last Friday 24 April, we were contacted by Devon & Cornwall Police to assist with the search of a high-risk missing person believed to be injured following an RTC.

A 300m radius search area was established around the vehicle, and volunteer team members began searching the surrounding rural terrain at 12:00.

Assisted by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency Rescue 924 helicopter, the areas were cleared efficiently.

With nothing found, we were stood down at 14:30 allowing the Police to conduct further inquiries.
