SEARCH – Penzance (08-09/12/24)

We were called out by Devon & Cornwall Police to assist the Maritime and Coastguard Agency with the search for a high-risk missing person in the Penzance area.

Team members joined Coastguard colleagues in searching likely areas along the seafront from Penzance across to Marazion – keeping a close eye on the tide.

We were stood down as daylight faded and recommenced the search the following day. Again working closely with Coastguard colleagues, we covered further areas around the town and neighbouring coastpaths. After over five hours, we were stood down once more pending further police investigations.
