Medical Team

All team members are trained in first-aid, but Mountain Rescue England and Wales also has its own accredited Remote Rescue Medical Technician training.

This advanced training allows team members to provide a higher level of pre-hospital care to casualties, including the administration of certain drugs, whether for enhanced pain-relief or to treat medical conditions.

The team also boasts numerous medical professionals in its ranks, including doctors, paramedics and nurses, all bringing their specialist knowledge to the team.
