How I got involved in the team: A couple of people I work with are in the Coastguard and have worked with WCSAR, and mentioned what a great job the team do and how professional they are. Knowing that I have interests in the outdoors they mentioned I might be interested.
I’ve really enjoyed my time with the team there are such a wide variety of professionals who are willing to teach you everything you could possibly need to become a member and then some.
